How unfair to all of us! Diane is suddenly gone.  Much too young, much too nice, to be missed much too much.

 

Perhaps this is one of your signals to us.  One day at a time is all we have.  Make the most of it!

 

No suffering - no long debilitating disease. No slow disappearance of the life and vitality of Diane.  Just suddenly gone.

 

We will remember Diane and all of her wonderful qualities.

 

Lord, you are now experiencing first hand (in your Everlasting Kingdom) the personality and wonderful characteristics of Diane.

I have never been touched by a person as immediatley and consistently as I was by DP.  She made me feel so special everytime I saw her - like she was so excited just waiting to see me.  Diane was my mentor when I started at Nextel, and she has taught me so many of the sales skills I use today.    I knew I would see and hang out with her at every event, I knew our walks to Balboa park to enjoy the outdoor concerts were special, and I knew she wanted more of me in her life, as I did her.  Sometimes we don't realize the importance a person can play in how you have changed and developed until you are forced to analyze it.  One thing I know I learned from Diane, and was concious of learning it everytime she was with me, was the great example she set to ALWAYS take advantage of EVERY opportunity to make it fun - whatever it was; driving to Palm Springs together, Cold Calling together, kayaking together, being at the beach together, long Nextel events or meetings together, she turned everything into a contest, a way to have fun, and took advantage of every moment of life.  For that GREAT lesson my friend, I will never forget you, and never meet another like you.  You are irreplaceable!  Loved by all.

Diane, the world will not be the same without you my friend.  I was stunned and saddened to hear of your passing.  I will always remember our fun times at the Padres games and the way you would make us all laugh.  I will especially remember the night you and I went out to meet a couple of guys and you told me to never give up on meeting the right man....NEVER you said.  Thanks to your very sound advice I did meet the right man, and you were right....never give up!  Diane, you were always so full of life and always there to help celebrate anything.  I think the last time we saw each other was when you came to celebrate my promotion and move back to L.A., and that meant a lot to me.  You will be missed, but we all know you will be a wonderful guardian angel to all those who knew and loved you! 

The world has lost a great person, free spirit, dear friend!  I am deeply sorry to her family and friends, especially Amy. Diane touched the lives of many people and will never be forgotten.

Diane, you have touched the lives of all of us in so many ways.  I will remember you most, from the way you could always make me laugh.  You have left us way too soon, and will be missed terribly.  Love you - Ericka   

We can't know why sad things happen....We can only know that nothing beautiful in this world is every really lost...because all precious things live on in memory forever.

I will hold on to the memory of your voice, your powerful energy, fun spirit, wonderful times we had together and larger than life smile.  You gave thanks at my house this Thanksgiving.....I want to thank you for being in my life for 20 years.  I miss you terribly and love you deeply.  I don't understand but know you are in a peaceful place.

Thank you for your unconditional love and friendship.  You brought so many people happiness with your candor, joy, adventure and warm heart.  I will hold on to your big hugs everyday.

I can't believe I didn't get a chance to spend much time to get to know Diane after we all scattered in the wind after our TeleMagic experience.  In those days, I was a wounded techie, and Diane was a salesperson, and I had a lot more growing to do. In the interim years, I heard stories of Diane from other TeleMagic survivors, and they were always life-affirming and positive. I always thought she was sweet and funny and smart, and I regret not having made the effort to get to know her better. For all of you who remained close to Diane, I salute you, and thank you for sharing your memories and experiences. And God bless you for being there and loving her so much. I know she can exit this life having truly felt loved and appreciated.  And I hope she can feel my admiration for her, even though my voice is relatively tiny.

A beautiful person has been lost to us.  I only met Diane once but was enormously impressed by her extraordinary heart and happy spirit.  Love and prayers to everyone who knew her and were touched by her. 

Diane, you were larger than life, and always had a warm smile every time I saw you.  You had a quality about you that made me feel instantly at ease every time we spoke, and I will miss you.  Thank you for all of the great memories.
