I don't understand how this could have happened to the healthiest person I know. The only time I had breakfast at her house she served me egg whites, steamed spinach and a bran muffin with fake coffee! Where was the bacon grease anad bloody mary? She was the designated driver because you could count on her not to drink too much. She used to make fun of me because I called her Nordic track an "Artic" track...little did I know. I absolutely loved her incredible joi de vivre. She really knew how to enjoy food, friends, music and the little things in life. I will miss her so much.

Diane was certainly a one of a kind.  We first met at ITG, where all the first group of girls met, but we went on to work together again at least once, maybe twice.  It was at ARC, Aluminum Recycling Corporation, that the cookie, Snackwells, became popular.  Carolyn, you'll remember them well.  Diane was into sweets then, and had jammed every available nook and cranny of her desk with boxes of these cookies.  (I think this was at the beginning of the no fat phase 10 or 12 years ago).  Never crossed our minds that because it didn't have fat, didn't mean it didn't have calories or sugar!  If those cookies could talk, the stories they would tell!

I admired Diane as a Human Being so much.  She was always practicing the concept of Be Here Now, and I never knew anyone who lived her life at 100% so much of the time.  I'm really grateful she did that.  It's a wake up call to me to remember to do that more often.  DI-Ann, Marty and I will really, really miss you.  Your time here was way too short.

A couple of years ago, Amy and Reece were in Hawaii and I was helping Diane watch Makayla for a few days.  I had known Diane as "Amy's friend", but it was in those few days that I Diane also became MY friend.  She would come over and hang out in our massage chair and share a glass of wine and talk about everything from food to politics to culture and religion, and oh yeah, the secret of her radiant, clear skin!  My son Siddharth and Makayla are close buddies, and Diane would play with them like another child.  She would watch them ride in their ATV's outside and we would take them to the park with their bikes, chasing them down the slope! It was a fun week! Whether they were scribbling on Amy's furniture or playing dress up, Diane was a part of it all! I got to know a sensitive and caring person, who selflessly gave to others, no matter what.

My other favorite memory of Diane's is the night we all went to the Kenny G concert at Humphrey's and sat in a boat sipping wine and enjoying the music. Diane lived in the moment and expressed herself very eloquently.  Diane really knew how to enjoy life to the fullest and appreciated the finer things in life.

In the Hindu philosophy, a soul is never born and it never dies - it simply discards its embodiment.  Diane's journey on earth was too short for someone so special. Diane's beautiful aura will always remain with me and inspire me to admire every single color in God's rainbow.

I will miss you, my friend.

With love and hugs,

Anjali

We, Reece C. Jensen Sr. wife, Billie extend our deepest heart-felt sympathies to all who knew and love Diane as we did. She came into our lives when we moved South to San Diego from our former home in Nevada, and were immediately accepted into the new family & friends of our son, Reece Jr. and wife Amy. We will always remember Diane as a warm, caring and wonderful person, always concerned with the feelings and well-being of others. We will miss her terribly and cherish her memory and are very sorry for her family's loss.

Alaways and Forever,

A Silent Goodbye To Our Dear Friend, Diane -

To reach out to the winds in the sky,Finding strength within a silent good-bye.
Diane was a treasure, in Heaven and on Earth,
We pray to her and she answers through our tears & Faith.
She taught us to have Hope in Faith and in Love,
In God we trust all things, to answer all our prayers.
Diane’s love was genuine and true,
May we find warmth in the memories of her love within you.

Together, we created a third entity of Love, Find peace in the journey of her loving from above.
Stars light the darkness and light us from within, She was our mentor as we are an extension of her.
She may no longer be a part of this bountiful earth, Find love in her loss and happiness in her birth.
The stars are what guide us throughout our daily travels, Find trust within her and let living not unravel.

Darkness may set in as the stars light the sky, She whispers onto us and wipes the tears from our eyes.
Memories will surround us as we find strength within our souls, She will remain within us, a part of every goal.
She made people smile and treasured all her life, she can still see the Earth as she walks in fields of Heaven.
With every step within our lives, meaningful or not, Diane would be proud of us, she really meant a lot.

It seems that life can be so cruel and often never fair, Why? Always is the question in times of deep despair.
Her journey on Earth has ended too early in this life, she will forever be remembered for her strength.
Diane is at peace in the blue skies above us dancing with angels in a beautiful garden of flowers.
Her loving spirit lives on within us and her memory of a beautiful life will forever light our souls.

A loving bond lingers as slowly the moon sets in, She proudly beams from high above in Heaven in God’s Grace.
She puts her hand on our shoulders in Hope we begin,Dreams in life we’ve always wanted giving thanks to her.
A cherished loved one sadly sealed by Fate, tell her how you loved her so and plant flowers at the gate.
May we live to remember all that Diane was and how much of a difference she made in our lives.

She met us halfway down the road we ventured on together, we thought immortality extended to forever.
Stars disappear as darkness winks Goodbye, Diane hears our silent voice, no need for our reply.
Stillness is forever gone as she remains the light, The horizon now meets our day as it has left the night.
We can still hear her voice and wisdom of her memory, she will forever be the flame within our light.

We are never prepared or ready to let go or say Good-bye, Find consolation that she is now eclipsed in the sky.
We will never forget the character of Diane, for she will live within us all hand in hand with God.
May we find a place within our hearts where the memories will live on forever, for she truly was a treasure.
Diane peacefully passed away laying on her love seat with a cell phone in her hand.

Her footprints no longer make imprints in the sand, She will forever be our hero extending out her hand.
As the doves fly above in the rays of each new day, The stars will smile down on us and we will find the way.
Believe me when I say to you she will forever live, As long as we hold onto Hope, wounds will heal and give.
To reach out to the winds and the breeze as she floats within the sky, Find the strength from within...

The Love, Hope, and Faith to say a last prayer and Silent Goodbye.
